Mission
Give every organization we work with software that fits how it works, and the skills to keep using it.
Weyra Technology is an international digital transformation company headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We design, build and run software for organizations moving their work from paper and spreadsheets to connected digital systems.
Across Ethiopia and the wider region, cooperatives, schools, hotels, NGOs and growing companies still run critical work on paper ledgers, phone calls and spreadsheets passed around by email. The software that does exist is often imported, generic and built for different languages, currencies and network conditions.
We started Weyra to close that gap: an engineering team that understands local operations and builds to international standards. Some problems are common enough that we turned them into platforms, like Weyra Finance and Weyra HRMS. Everything else, we design and build to fit.
Mission
Give every organization we work with software that fits how it works, and the skills to keep using it.
Vision
A region where no important work is lost to paper, and where local teams build the technology the world uses.
Four principles behind every project and platform.
We start with how work actually happens, not with a feature list. Sometimes the answer is less software, not more.
Unreliable connections, Amharic and English, Ethiopian birr, local regulations and everyday phones are design inputs, not afterthoughts.
A launch isn't the finish line. We measure success by whether your team still uses the system a year later.
We host, support and improve what we build, so you have a technology partner instead of a one-off vendor.
Custom software across five disciplines, plus ready-made platforms for common problems.
We map how work runs today, on paper, in Excel or in old systems, and agree on what to change first.
You approve screens, roles, approvals and reports before a line of code is written.
Working software every few weeks, with your historical records moved across and checked.
Staff training, hosting and support, then automation and AI once the data is flowing.
Headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, working with organizations in Ethiopia and abroad. Most collaboration happens remotely, in English or Amharic, on East Africa Time (UTC+3), with on-site workshops when a project needs them.
